“May the wind under your wings bear you where the sun sails and the moon walks.” - J R R Tolkien
November Evening at Burkes Beach by Jim Crotty 7 on Flickr.
Everyday, return to the Eternal. Give back every fear, every blessing. To truly live is to be humbled before God in a constant state of thankfulness. To live in awareness of the gift of the moment. Often we want so badly that which we’ve already been given. We stumble under the illusion that what is experienced can be permanently owned. Simply receive and return. All the fears and doubts too. Let go. Give back. In possessing that which can never be owned - no matter how pleasing to the ego - we also unwittingly take hold of the darker side of the illusion. Peace begins to arrive in the letting go, the forgiveness, the awareness. The only lasting gift begins to be realized. Grace breaks through.
Thankful for the opportunity to once again find gifts in the day set before me. Let my heart lead the way.

“The journey is the thing.” - Homer
To have faith is to be thankful for the opportunity to start each day anew and leave behind yesterday’s missteps. The fear, doubt and worry will also arise again but so will that which resides in the heart. Courses are corrected with the loving hand of the eternal.
Life’s journeys. Every experience becomes a part of who we are. #hiltonhead
Fear of displeasing others puts you in bondage to them. Don’t ever give someone else that kind of power. It will reek havoc with lives and destroy families. Instead let go of the fear. Be still and give it to God. He’ll take it from there.
When all goes quiet, the most meaningful of messages arrive. #hiltonhead #faith
