“Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson
The soul insists on journeys to the gardens of the heart. Somewhere outside the walls we’re constantly building around ourselves resides everything we truly hope for.
“The grand show is eternal. It is always sunrise somewhere; the dew is never dried all at once; a shower is forever falling; vapor is ever rising. Eternal sunrise, eternal dawn and gloaming, on sea and continents and islands, each in its turn, as the round earth rolls. ” ― John Muir #nature #beauty #spring #hope #naturephotography #muir #grace #soul #spirit #home #latergram
“Keep close to Nature’s heart…and break clear away, once in awhile, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.” ― John Muir
“What you seek is seeking you.” ― Rumi

The true meaning of the day is far more peaceful and reverent of both faith and the beauty of nature. In introducing the Christianity to the Celtic tribes of Ireland Saint Patrick strived to find a common bond from which to build upon rather than completely dispel and disassociate the Druids and their followers from their keen sensitivity to the rhythms and ways of all things natural and wild. To attempt to do so is like removing the spirit from the soul. Each would perish without the other. This why Celtic crosses are so beautiful. For me they symbolize the perfect balance. The energy and beauty of both nature and faith are bound together in the circle. It’s powerful. I am thankful and blessed with Celtic heritage, but honestly all those who share in the true spirit of this day are of Celtic background.

The smell of rain.
“Love like rain, can nourish from above, drenching couples with a soaking joy. But sometimes under the angry heat of life, love dries on the surface and must nourish from below, tending to its roots keeping itself alive.” ― Paulo Coelho, By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept
Beauty in the details. Avian. “Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.” ― Edgar Degas
