The Bearer of a Soul
Cast as one with the light, against the grain of the fearful, rides the bearer of a soul. The open heart shoots in brilliance across the night sky. A star in motion. Where others find fear in the assumed burden of vulnerability, always retreating to the safety of the shadows of theater, the bearer illuminates that which refuses to stay hidden. The storm cloud on the opposite horizon of the setting sun is set afire and for a brief moment the sky glows in praise of joined honesty. The bearer is reminded that indeed he’s not burdened but blessed.
