“Life is your art. An open, aware heart is your camera. A oneness with your world is your film. Your bright eyes and easy smile is your museum.” ― Ansel Adams
To always be grateful for the opportunity to express the heart’s intent through a creative medium - no matter what that medium may be. What’s important is to base that intent in the courage of honesty and in a love for life.
Simple Gifts. In art, love and life. The beautiful execution of a simple concept. To live and create with intent and gratitude.

Hold onto hope. There is so much more. More for which to be grateful.

Perhaps it is the purpose of this life for the soul to find its voice. Through all the sorrow and happiness, heartbreak and passion, trial and peace. Something not only endures but begins to form in the shape of both the experience of the present and with a light of the eternal. The spirit finds its stride and in doing so there is a revealing. It could happen in days or decades. The schedule of the soul is a mystery. But there is a journey. Each step forward there is a lightening of our self-imposed burdens. Soon we are bounding across chasms with nothing more than faith. The temporary pain of all the farewells is gradually replaced by the joy of the calling of leading the way. There is so much more, so much more, when the voice is finally found.

“Moonlight floods the whole sky from horizon to horizon;
How much it can fill your room depends on its windows.” ― Rumi
“All I have seen teaches me to trust the Creator for all I have not seen.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson
Forgiveness to mercy to grace. Let it all go, and then rise.
“It is always the simple things that change our lives. And these things never happen when you are looking for them to happen. Life will reveal answers at the pace life wishes to do so. You feel like running, but life is on a stroll. This is how God does things.” ― Donald Miller
Rise and be thankful. There will be gifts within this day.
The smell of rain.
“Love like rain, can nourish from above, drenching couples with a soaking joy. But sometimes under the angry heat of life, love dries on the surface and must nourish from below, tending to its roots keeping itself alive.” ― Paulo Coelho, By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept
