Late afternoon light in Santa Fe. How the light falls inside St. Francis Cathedral. The purple on the column is actually from the sunlight coming through the stained glass windows on the opposite side of the cathedral. Quite appropriate given the current season of Lent. There is something almost mystical about the light in Santa Fe. How it changes throughout the day is much more apparent, even while moving across subjects with a subtle touch.
