Whether it be physically, geographically or spiritually, move in faith and with gratitude.

“As I look back on my own life, I recognize this simple truth: The greatest opportunities were the scariest lions. Part of me has wanted to play it safe, but I’ve learned that taking no risks is the greatest risk of all.” ― Mark Batterson, In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day: How to Survive and Thrive When Opportunity Roars

There is so much for which to be thankful for; so much to be reminded of why it’s important to stay within an “attitude of gratitude.”

Maybe that’s the lesson and the reason for my living on Hilton Head for the last year and a half. To not only be made aware of the right path - the right direction - of where to turn to next, but also turn in that direction with a letting go of past mistakes, old habits, healed over wounds.

To come to know the grace of gratefulness by understanding what it means to finally move on and flow forward.

“Comparison is the thief of joy.” - Theodore Roosevelt

Beginning the week of thankfulness.

“Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude.”
― Ralph Waldo Emerson
